Mr. John Windle Willis, age 60, of Carrollton passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.  Mr. Willis was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on May 4, 1956.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy.  Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edwin Willis; and one brother, Charles Randall Willis.

Survivors include one son, Jason Shane Willis of Washington; mother, Doris Yarbrough Willis of Carrollton; two sisters, Janice Mitchell and Judy Willis both of Carrollton; one grandchild, Sarah Willis; three nieces, Robyn Willis, Amanda Morris and Alea Shadrix; one nephew, Cody Blair; and a number of other relatives.

The family will conduct a memorial service Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Word of Life Gospel Ministries with Rev. Keith Jiles officiating.

Cremation services are provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
