John Wayne Ragsdale, age 31 of Carrollton, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 due to health problems. He was born on December 14, 1988 in Selma, AL. to the late Terry Ragsdale and Teresa Williams Densmore. Besides his father he is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Betty Rainey and Clyde and Syble Ragsdale and nephew James Robert Shaver.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Teresa (Bruce) Densmore of Muscadine, AL.; son, Braden Crawford of Clanton, AL.; two sisters, Lynn Mims (Doug Smitherman) of Clanton, AL. and Virginia (James) Ballew of Carrollton; brother, John Mims (Shannon Lyn) of Clanton, AL.; nephew, William Shaver of Verbena, AL.; niece, Miranda Mims of Clanton, AL. and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In keeping with John's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
