Mr. John K. Dodrill, age 58 of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was born on September, 7, 1960 to the late Kenneth Dodrill and Loretta Dodrill. He is also preceded in death by one sister Phyllis Watson.

Survivors include his wife Irene Dodrill of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Melanie (Enrique) Ripley of Carrollton; two sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel (Lindsey) Dodrill of Braselton and Bryan Dodrill of Rome; two sisters, Nina Woods of Carrollton and Marylan Woods of West Virginia; two brothers, David Dodrill of Roopville and Charles Dodrill of Maryland; five grandchildren, Emily Ripley, Sean Ripley, Nathan Ripley, Aubry Dodrill, Jonathan Dodrill and several other family members.

In keeping with Mr. Dodrill's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
