Mr. Joe Mac Koon, age 76, of Buchanan passed away Friday, March 29, 2013. Mr. Koon was born in Jacksonville, Florida on September 29, 1936. He was the son of the late Henry J. Koon and the late Doris Edwards Routon. Mr. Koon was a retired upholstery shop owner. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette West Koon; two sisters, Ruth Stafford and Katheryn Rowell; and step-father, Henry Routon.

Survivors include two sisters and one brother-in-law, Georgia Morris of Carrollton and Jenny and Efrain Garcia of Senoia; one brother and sister-in-law, William C. and Sue Routon of Carrollton; one step-sister and step brother-in-law, Judy and David Darby of Bermuda Run, NC; two step-brothers and step sisters-in-law, Fred and Florence Sadler of Winston and Charles and Jeanette Callahan of Buchanan; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel.
