Joanna Matthews-Peed, age 54 of Winston, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022. She was born on November 15. 1967 in Newport News, VA to Roland Lamar Matthews and Jacqueline Fletcher Matthews. She is preceded in death by her son, Devon Peed.

Survivors include her parents, Roland Lamar Matthews and Jacqueline Fletcher Matthews; son, Justin Peed, daughter, Casey Lee Smith; brother, Eric Matthews; sisters, Shellie Ledford and Kim Estelle; grandchild, Alee Fisher, Aldan Fisher and Grayson Fisher and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Joanna's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
