Mr. Jimmy Lee Wood, age 67 of Buchanan, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was born on March 31, 1951 to the late Robert Wood and Louise Cheatwood Wood. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Denise Boston Wood and one sister, Linda Houston.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jody and Ahren Wood of Buchanan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Michael Bailey of Cedartown and Crystal and Chris Stone of Carrollton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and James Myrick of Cedartown and Peggy and Phillip Holder of Buchanan; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mr. Woods wishes he will be cremated.
