Mr. Jimmy Wayne Walker, age 68, of Temple passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014.  Mr. Walker was born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 11, 1945.  He was the son of the late Arthur Lewis Chambers and the late Lois Walker Chambers.  Mr. Walker was a retired plumber.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Darrell Wayne Walker.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Christina and Brian Hall of Tallapoosa and Denise Carroll of Hampton; one son, Michael Walker of Temple; one sister, Reva Milligan of Tallapoosa; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Mitchell and Yvonne Chambers of Hampton, Johnny Chambers of Lawrenceville and Arthur Chambers of Calhoun; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. after which the Mr. Walker will be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, contributions be made to your favorite charity.
