Mr. Jimmy Terrell Parks, age 45, of Carrollton passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was born in Carrollton on October 26, 1978. Mr. Parks is the son of the late, Walter Parks and the late, Mary (Hall) Parks. In addition to his parents, Terrell is preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Parks; by his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Betty Sims; and by his paternal grandparents, Otha and Joseph Parks.

Mr. Parks dedicated many years of his career as a successful Truck Driver. He earned his Commercial Driver's License (CDL) from West Georgia Technical College and would later go on to work for a number of different companies, most recently with North Georgia Turf. Terrell was a loving fiancé, father, grandfather, and friend. Mr. Parks will be remembered as a very forgiving and graceful man. His life will be defined by his unwavering love for his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Lauren Robustelli of Carrollton; his daughters, Brooklyn Parks of Carrollton, Madilyn Parks of Carrollton, Haley Parks of Carrollton, and Destiny Wilkins of Atlanta; his sons, Desmond Luke Parks of Manchester and Roman Parks of Carrollton; his brother, Walter Parks, Jr. of Whitesburg; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Tina and Jeffery Holts of Carrollton and Katherine Parks of Carrollton; his grandson, Legend Shell and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to the service, from 12 Noon until the funeral hour.

In accordance with the arrangements, Mr. Parks will be cremated following the funeral services and a private interment will be conducted at a later date.
