Obituary

Mr. Jimmy Barner "Nose" Madden, age 70, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Mr. Madden was born in Haralson County on December 31, 1940. He was the son of the late John Esker Madden and the late Jewell Harper Madden. Mr. Madden was an automobile mechanic. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Goldin Madden and one sister, Sue Pierce.

Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Trixie Santiago of Brooklyn, NY, Cindy and Jimmy Moore of Bremen, Donna and Benny Waldrop of Bremen and Charlotte and Gary Wright of Bremen; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Teresa Madden of Temple and Dwayne and Linda Madden of Bremen; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dot and Rayford Frazier of Carrollton and Becky and Dennis Ellis of Tallapoosa; one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Margie Madden of Bremen; and a number of grandchildren; great grandchildren; and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 3:00 P.m. from Waco United Methodist Church with Rev. Benny Waldrop and Rev. Kevin Aronhalt officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Bremen with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Justin Madden, Richard Vines, Mike Spillers, Ray Madden, Kim Brown and Mark Thrower. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dwayne Madden and Gene Madden.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 4:00 P.M.
until 9:00 P.M.
