Jimmy Glynn Harper, Jr., age 55 of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Carrollton on November 29, 1968, he was the son Lucile Dees Harper and the late Jimmy Glenn Harper.  In addition to his father, Glynn is preceded in death by his uncle Donnie Harper and his brother-in-law, Shane Worthy.

A 1986 graduate of Haralson County High School, Glynn continued his education at West Georgia Technical College in the mechanics department until his accident.  One who never met a stranger, he loved to talk to everyone and was always cheerful even through adversity. One of his favorite pastimes was watching wrestling. Glynn fiercely loved his family and they all loved him dearly.

Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Lucile Harper and his sister, Angel Harper Worthy, all of Buchanan.  Also surviving are his nephews, Jake Harper and Hayden Williams; niece, Emily Harper; his step-mother, Brenda Harper; and five great nieces and one great nephew along with great niece Ava Jefferson.

A Celebration of Life for Glynn Harper will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Noon from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 until Noon.

In accordance with his wishes, Glynn will be cremated.
