Mr. Jimmy Houston, age 67, of Bremen passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014.  Mr. Houston was born in Haralson County on August 2, 1947.  He was the son of the late Jack Houston and the late Jo Ann Leatherwood Houston.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sabrina Houston Snyder; one step-grandchild, Crystal Robinson; two sisters, Becky Cline and Joyce Tanner; four brothers, Billy Houston, David Houston, Kenneth Houston and Steve Houston.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Taylor Houston of Bremen; two step-daughters, Marie Houston and Cathy Pace both of Bremen; son-in-law, David Snyder of Bremen;  eight sisters and six brothers-in-law, Betty Jo Duke of Rockmart, Janice and Bo Adams of Cedartown, Patricia and David Atkins of Lindale, Martha and David Coleman of Cave Spring, Peggy Houston of Buchanan, Pamela and Larry Dunn of Cedartown, Sarah and Charlie McElroy of Bremen and Linda Gail and Tony Carter of Bremen; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Peggy Houston of Temple, Jeff and Linda Houston of Temple, Jerry and Louise Houston of Franklin and Johnny and Marie Houston of Bremen; step-grandchildren, April Bates, Kelly Jones, Matthew Houston, Jennifer Morris and Amy Pace; great grandchildren, Justin Bates, Jasley Jones, Kailey Jones, Bradan Houston, Taylor Morris, Gwyneth Morris, Riley Morris, Douglas Robinson, Devon Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Delainie Roberts, Harley Clark and Meagan Puckett; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chris Reid and Danny Hutcheson officiating.  Music will be rendered by Robbie Houston.  Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
