Mr. Jimmy Dean Clayton of Tallapoosa passed way on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was born in Cleburne County, Alabama on February 10, 1932 to the late Dewey Clayton and the late Willie Albright Clayton. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lila Clayton; two sisters, Barbara Bell and Margie Benefield; three brothers, Billie Joe Clayton, Roger Clayton, and Kenneth Clayton; and three grandchildren, Jessica Clayton, Kevin "Kebo" Clayton, and Kimala Denman.
In his early years, Jimmy served his country in the United States Army. Later, he worked for and retired from the City of Tallapoosa.
Mr. Clayton is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Tonnie Allen; his two sons and their wives, Dean and Angie Clayton, and Mike and Jan Clayton; his sister, Shirley Laminack; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a number of other family and friends.
In keeping with Mr. Clayton's wishes, he will be cremated.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory is handing the cremation.
