Mr. Jessie Lee Winkles, Jr., age 80, of Buchanan passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. Mr. Winkles was born in Carroll County on May 31, 1931. He was the son of the late Jessie Lee Winkles, Sr. and the late Alma Estelle Cook Winkles. Mr. Winkles was employed as a store clerk at Ingle''s in Bremen. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tony Winkles and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Nell Bolden Winkles; one daughter, Anne Wix of Buchanan; one sister, Mary Stembridge of Buchanan; one grandson, Michael Wayne Wix of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Hudges officiating. Music will be rendered by Wanda Copeland. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Bremen with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Michael Wix, Seth Cook, Jeffery Wix, John Frichman, Daniel Ellis and Brock Ellis.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
