Jerry Haden Stewart, age 80 of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born on March 5, 1944 to the late James H. Stewart and the late Ethel Mae Cook Taylor. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn Marie Colbert.

Jerry was an excellent guitar player and was a member of a band.  Being a country boy, he also loved to fish.  Jerry proudly served in the United States Air Force from September of 1962 until September of 1966.  He worked for many years and retired from the Water Department.

Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Stewart of Madison, WI; sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Ronnie Shirley and several other relatives and friends.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Mt. View Baptist Church.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
