Mr. Jerry Mack Coffey, age 64, of Heflin, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014.  Mr. Coffey was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on January 7, 1950.  He was the son of the late Adron Coffey and the late Margie Williams Coffey.  Mr. Coffey was a retired heavy equipment operator with Union Local 926 and Dillard Construction.

Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Cook Coffey of Heflin, AL; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Phil Mir of Frisco, TX and Tresa and Jarred Wold of Garden Ridge, TX; one son, Steven Coffey of Heflin, AL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and J.P. Knight of Louisville, KY and Betty and Bruce Holt of Leavenworth, IN; one brother and sister-in-law, Garry and Dotty Coffey of Lawrenceburg, KY; five grandchildren, Adrian Coffey, Mason Wold, Brianna Coffey, Morgan Mir and Ally Grace Mir; several other children and grandchildren he chose to love and make family; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 12:00 Noon from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Robinson, Donnie Dillard and Sammy Phillips officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
