Jerrell Wayne Reneau, age 73, of Mount Zion passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019. He was born in Carrollton on Sunday, August 19, 1945. Mr. Reneau was the son of the late, Lemuel Glaspy Reneau and the late, Monzua (Ashmore) Reneau. Besides his parents, Mr. Reneau is preceded in death by his wife Champen Reneau.

Mr. Reneau retired from the United States Army after many years of service.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jenifer Reneau of Lexington, South Carolina; his brother, Stan Reneau of Mount Zion; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Denise and Charles Dillman of Mount Zion and Deborah Stafford of Ranburne, Alabama; two grandchildren, Katelyn and Breanna Reneau both of Lexington, South Carolina; his nephew Brandon Stafford of Carrollton and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services with Military Funeral Honors will be conducted on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11 A.M. from Bethel Campground Church Cemetery in Carrollton with Reverend Anthony Puckett officiating.
