Jennifer Violet Fortner Bone, age 45, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Born in Villa Rica on July 2, 1978, she was the daughter of Donald Fortner and Violet Norton Fortner.

Jennifer loved being outdoors.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, and working in her flower beds.  One of Jennifer's favorite crafting hobbies was making beaded jewelry.

Her survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Megan Bone of Buchanan; her granddaughter, Blakeleigh Bone; her mother and father, Donald and Violet Fortner of Buchanan; her brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Amanda Fortner of Rome; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jennifer Bone will be conducted Monday, June 24, 2024, at 3:00 PM from Welcome Baptist Church with Brother Johnny Holcombe, Brother Oscar Cash, and Brother Ryan Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Welcome Cemetery under the direction of Brother Raymond Cash.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Blake Bone, Joseph Bone, Jake Carnes, Dustin Whitfield, and Steven Moore.

Jennifer will be taken home to the family residence at 542 Buchanan By-Pass. The family will receive friends beginning on Sunday, June 23rd at 3:00 PM.  The procession to the church will leave the family residence on Monday at 2:00 PM.
