Mr. Jeffery Scott Gentry, age 40, of Centre, Alabama formerly of Buchanan passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008. Survivors include two sons, J.J. Gentry of Buchanan and Jonathan Gentry of Buchanan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Dennis Smith of Cedartown and Kathy and Steve Leatherwood of Bremen; four half sisters and brother-in-law, Judy and Charles Wheeler of Tallapoosa, Diane Thornton of Bremen, Yvonne Thomas of Florida and Vickie Sheperd of Tallapoosa; one brother, Victor Gentry of Buchanan; mother, Joyce Gentry of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives. No services are planned at this time. The body will be cremated. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
