Jeanell Rebecca Thompson was born to her parents Glover and Hattie Cheatwood in 1944. She lived in Tallapoosa all her life with her family. She was a teacher until she retired, and a friend to many all her life. She was always there when anyone needed her to lend a hand or ear.

She is survived by her daughter, Gina Henderson, her grandson and granddaughter Zane and Destiny Henderson, and her great grandchildren Arianna Henderson and Reagan Phillips. She will be loved and missed by many other countless friends and family. She passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2018 at Tanner Hospital in Villa Rica. Gone but not forgotten, we will all see you again one day.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in the Fellowship Hall of Westview Baptist Church in Tallapoosa.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
