Mrs. Jean Yvonne Roberts Payne, age 80, of Muscadine, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016.  Mrs. Payne was born in Muscadine, Alabama, on April 15, 1936.  She was the daughter of the late John Lawson Roberts and the late Mellie Ayers Roberts.  Mrs. Payne was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Leroy Payne; and three sisters, Elaine Miller, Katie Hicks and Linda Payne.

Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Gayla and Mike Moore of Anniston, AL, Kim Poole and Teresa Deason both of Muscadine, AL; one son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Deborah Payne of Muscadine, AL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian Williams of Muscadine, AL, Malene and Byron Ward of Powder Springs, GA, and Milton Miller of Mableton, GA; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

The family will conduct a memorial service Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. (CST) from Campground United Methodist Church in Muscadine, AL, with Rev. Cody Shelton officiating.
