Mr. J.D. House, age 76, of 2067 Shedd Rd., Bremen passed away Sunday, March 7, 2010. Mr. House was born June 4, 1933. He was the son of the late Floyd House and the late Effie Stanford House. Mr. House was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired carpenter. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie June House and a number of siblings. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Carol Ann Green of Buchanan and Sandra Kay and Craig Chandler of Tallapoosa; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randall and Maria House of Bremen and Mike House of Couts, IN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Maynard and Sherry House of Bremen and Marion and Virginia House of Blairsville; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Brett House and Rev. Sanford Tapley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
