Mr. JC Weldon, age 68, of Tallapoosa passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012. Mr. Weldon was born in Carroll County on October 18, 1943. He was the son of the late Amos Weldon and the late Irene Watts Weldon. Mr. Weldon worked in the textile industry.

Survivors include his wife Mae Daniel Weldon of Tallapoosa; two daughters and one son-in-law, Robin and Brian Wilson of Tallapoosa and Kelsey Weldon of Tallapoosa; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and April Weldon of Muscadine, AL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Johnny Teal of Carrollton and Joyce and James Agan of Temple; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry L. and Carolyn Weldon of Roopville, Edward and Patricia Weldon of Carrollton and Steve and Jan Weldon of Bremen; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Chester Pesnell officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Vic McElroy, Brian Wilson, James Agan, Gary Wilson, Anthony Weldon and Jessie Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
