Jane Caldwell, age 79 of Bowdon, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. She was born on August 2, 1942, in Tallapoosa to the late Russell Thurman and the late Esther Deese White. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, James D. Reeves and Charlie Thurman and two great grandchildren, Ariel Campbell and Dawson Stapler.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Brooks; son, Scott Caldwell; sister, Martha Rush; grandchildren, Monica (Scottie) Ellis, DeWayne Stapler, Krissy (Jonathan) Whisenhunt, Jacob and Landon Brooks, Kevin Mathis, Storm (Brittani) Sequoyah, Colin (Amanda) Caldwell, Jae'Lisa Caldwell, Ava Caldwell and Tanner Caldwell; great grandchildren, Brooklyn (Jordan) Porter, Chase Ellis, Jarrett Anderson, Braxton and Jaxson Whisenhunt, Jessa and John Sequoyah, Wilhelmina and Audrey Caldwell and Simeon and Karlie; two great great grandchildren, Clayton Bryant and Canaan Porter; several nieces, nephews and special friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
