Mr. James Wesley Mackey, age 72, of Bremen passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017.  Mr. Mackey was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 20, 1945.  He was the son the late Francis H. Mackey and the late Dorothy L. Parrish Mackey.  Mr. Mackey was employed as a drywall finisher with Turner Drywall.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Bedwell Mackey of Bremen; one daughter, Brandy Carter of Bremen; four sons, James F. Mackey of Buchanan, Bryan Mackey of Cartersville, Kevin Mackey of Ellenwood and Mark Mackey of Ohio; six grandchildren, Baylie, Riley, Jace, Quinn, Lucas and Justin; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Minister Bill Gray officiating.  Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
