James Walker, age 66 of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025.  Born in Carrollton on July 20, 1958, he was the son of the late James Preston Walker and the late Hazel Dean Walker.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by two sisters, Janice and Shirley.

Survivors include his sons, Connor Walker Childers of Johnson City, Tennessee and Caspian Covarrubias-Walker of Avon, Colorado.  Also surviving are his sisters, Faye (Bill) Wallis of Carrollton, Phyllis (Stuart) Bennett of Peachtree City, and Gloria (Nixon) Hernandez of Immokalee, Florida.

In keeping with his wishes, James will be cremated.  No service is planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
