Mr. James Raiford Shepherd, age 46, of 3877 Oakwoods Court, Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009. Mr. Shepherd was born in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama on December 24, 1962. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was employed as an engineer with T-Mobile. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Parsons Shepherd of Douglasville; one son, Christopher Myles Shepherd of Douglasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Shepherd of Amory, MS; parents, Bill and Ailese Duncan Shepherd of Moundville, AL; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. from the First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville with Rev. Jane Hubbard and Rev. Reginald Parsons officiating. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
