Roger Eidson

James "Roger" Eidson, 67 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on June 25, 2026.  Roger was the son of the late Bud Eidson and Katie Robinson Eidson.

Roger is survived by his wife of 19 years, DeDe Ferrell Eidson of Carrollton, two step-sons, Michael Watts and Jacob Hancock; brother, Bobby (Linda) Eidson of Carrollton, sisters-in-law, Stacie Williams and Michelle (Sydney) Williams; and brother-in-law, Virgil Ferrell. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Katie Robinson and his brother-in-law, Steve Ferrell.

Roger graduated from Mount Zion High School in 1977.  He graduated from Carroll Tech (West Georgia Technical College) in 1994.  Roger retired from the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Carrollton. Roger was a chief operator.

Roger will be cremated.  The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
