Mr. James John "Tray" Rodgers, III, age 21, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019. He was born on September 19, 1998 in Carrollton to James John Rodgers, II and Johnnie Sue Bright.

Survivors include his parents, Jennifer and Tim Blue of Bremen; one daughter and her mother, Claira Joe Rodgers and Katheryn "Quinlan" Dean of Temple; five brothers, Christian Bright of Buchanan, Shane Rodgers of Bremen, Brandon Haney of Tallapoosa, Keith Parrish of Bremen and Randy Summerville of Tallapoosa; step-brothers, Logan Rodgers of Carrollton, Jaden Rodgers of Carrollton and Ryder Rodgers of Carrollton; paternal grandparent, James John Rodgers, Sr. of Mississippi; maternal grandparent, Johnny Bright of Arkansas and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend George Pike officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Daniel Rodgers, Jacob Bright, Jesse Rodgers, Josh Rodgers, Tony Hotalen, Witt Hotalen, Shane Rodgers and Christian Bright.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
