Mr. James Edward Robinson, age 76, of Piedmont, Alabama, formerly of Bowdon passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013.  Mr. Robinson was born in Carroll County on August 11, 1937.  He was the son of the late William A. Robinson and the late Annie Crumbley Robinson.  Mr. Robinson was a retired truck driver.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Pope Robinson; one daughter, Patrice Robinson; and one son, Ronald Robinson.

Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Gayle Robinson of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Lisa Robinson of Bowdon; one brother Curtis Robinson of Bowdon; two step-daughters, Lynn Puckett and Maris Studdard both of Piedmont, AL; two step-sons, Phillip Studdard and James Studdard both of Piedmont, AL; two grandchildren; a number of step-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
