Mr. James Henry Reynolds, age 75, of Buchanan passed away Friday, January 24, 2014.  Mr. Reynolds was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 5, 1939.  He was the son of the late Alfred Jerome Reynolds and the late Grace Elizabeth Reynolds.  Mr. Reynolds was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from I.B.E.W. Local 613 in Atlanta where he was an electrician.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, A.J. "Tommy" Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kay White Reynolds of Buchanan; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly Kay and Roy Phillips of LaVista, NE and Kelli and Brett Gerstmyer of Fayetteville, GA; one sister, Grace Lacook of Jackson, TN; two grandchildren, Kienda Phillips and Katherine Phillips; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. from Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. John Lemmings officiating.  Music will be rendered by Marian Reynolds.  Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery.  The Haralson County Veterans Association will provide military funeral honors at the graveside.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
