Mr. James L. Poore, age 62, of Douglasville passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at home. He was born on August 23, 1949 in Powder Springs, GA to the late William and Ethel Poore.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tina Poore of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Leslie Poore of Senoia, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Christy and Curtis Cornett of Dallas, GA, Lisa Dresia of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Taylor, Chase, Connor, Emily and Dylan; sister, Katherine Mullins of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Thursday, May 31 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of McEachern Memorial UMC with Reverend Brian Tillman officiating. In liew of flowers, the family is accepting donations for a memorial bench in Jim''s honor.
