Mr. James Arthur Padgett, II, age 60, Mableton passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017.  Mr. Padgett was born in Mableton, Georgia, on January 24, 1957.  He was the son of the late Edsel Padgett and the late Margaret Collier Padgett.  Mr. Padgett was a self-employed building contractor.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Padgett; one son, James Arthur Padgett, III; one sister, Silvia Padgett; one brother, Jerry Padgett; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
