Mr. James Michael Lee, age 56, of 865 Waddell Rd., Bremen passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Mr. Lee was born in Carroll County on November 2, 1953. He was the son of the late Robert E. Lee, Sr. and Lillian Ragan Phillips of Buchanan. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the United States Army and was employed as a Corrections Officer in Paulding County. Survivors besides his mother includes his wife, Elsie Cook Lee of Bremen; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Brad Causey; one son, David Lee; two step-sons, T.J. Jordan and Allan Sudduth; one sister, Terri Phillips; one brother, Bobby Lee; one grandchild, Victoria Causey; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from the New Vision (Buchanan) Church of God with Rev. Jason Spray and Rev. Evett Guyton officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan Church of God Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: T.J. Jordan, Doug Ayers, Jared Ayers, Mikey Whitton, Zach Kelly and Heath Lee. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The remains will lie in state at the Church from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
