James "Jimmy" Autrey Brown, Jr., age 71 of Muscadine, AL, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born on February 16, 1949 in Carrollton to the late James Autrey Brown, Sr. and the late Nodena Daniel Brown. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one son, James Brown; sister, Betty Shelnutt and brother, Roger Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Joyce Garner Brown of Muscadine; two daughters, Angela McGinnis of Canton and Christie Brown of Carrollton; three sons, Shane Huddleston of Waco, Wayne Brown of Muscadine and James Autrey Brown, III of LaGrange; three sisters, Frances Lewis of Carrollton, Deloris Smith of Carrollton and Patricia Ann Tidwell of Carrollton; four brothers, Dennis Brown of Centre, AL, Johnny Brown of Beaver Run, Bobby Brown of TX and Douglas Brown of Carrollton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Jimmy's wishes he was cremated.

The family will host a private memorial service at a later date.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
