Mr. James Horace McClure, age 86 of Bremen, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020, in a local hospital.  He was born in Buchanan, GA, August 20, 1933, to the late James Elbert McClure and Nora Cheatwood McClure.   Horace was a United States Army veteran and served in the Korean War.  He and the love of his life, Jane, were married for 62 years.

Mr. McClure was a long- time member of the First Baptist Church in Bremen.  Having retired as an automobile salesman, Horace had spent many great years with Norris Price Chevrolet in Bremen and Kimball Ford in Cedartown.   He loved his family dearly and enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow up.

In addition to his parents, Horace is also preceded in death by his siblings: Hazel McCollum, Betty Ann Priest, David McClure, Delbert McClure, Eugene McClure, Harley McClure, Darlene McClure, and Geraldine McClure.

Horace is survived by his wife, Jane, of Bremen; his children, Mike and Tracey McClure of Bremen, Steve and Jana McClure of Bremen; and Kendall and Bobbi Jo McClure of Destin FL; grandchildren, Brooke (Chad) Pieroni, Salem, UT; Matthew (Bonnie) McClure, Bremen; Andrew (Annie) McClure, Watkinsville, GA; Crystal Huddleston, Temple, GA; Morgan (Craig) Williams, Tallapoosa, GA; Trent McClure, Duluth, GA; Madison McClure, Bowdon, GA; and Nick McClure, Destin, FL; and one brother, Lovie (Jean) McClure, Bremen, GA; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a private graveside service held at Polk Memory Gardens.  Officiating will be Andrew McClure, Matthew McClure and Trent McClure.
