Mr. James Richard "Sammy" Holcombe, age 60 of 119 Bear Creek Road, Carrollton passed away Saturday, October 10, 2009. Mr. Holcombe was a construction worker. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Henry Holcombe.
Survivors include five daughters, Jill Bollegar of Tampa, FL, Bonnie Gibson of Buchanan, Joelle Holcombe of Florida, Jessica Holcombe of Heflin and Jada Holcombe of Heflin; three sisters, Diane McClain of Tallapoosa, Deborah Nelson of Carrollton and Vickie Holcombe of Florida; three brothers, Charles L. Holcombe of Oxford, AL, Johnny Holcombe of Bremen and Rusty Holcombe of Buchanan; mother, Frances Holcombe of Tallapoosa; seven grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be conducted Monday, October 12, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jeffery Addison officiating.
