Mr. James J. Forrester, age 90, of Tallapoosa passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017.  Mr. Forrester was born in Carnesville, Georgia, on September 10, 1927.  He was the son of the late John Forrester and the late Hannah Crump Forrester.  Mr. Forrester was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Randall Mixon of Tallapoosa; five grandchildren, Randall Mixon, Rhett Mixon, Ryan Mixon, Traci Duncan and Timi Rainwater; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
