Mr. James Calvin Dukes, Jr., age 59, of 289 Mt. Zion St., Bremen passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2008. Mr. Dukes was born in Haralson County on August 20, 1948. He was the son of the late James Calvin Dukes, Sr. and the late Marion Louise Nelson Dukes. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharanda Dukes. Survivors include one daughter, Camessa Dukes of Marietta; five sons, Marcus Dukes of Marietta, Didric Dukes of Marietta, James Dukes of Douglasville, Stacy Dukes of Kennesaw and Jeremiah Dukes of Toccoa; two sisters, Dorothy Grier of Bremen and Shirley Daniel of Bremen; one brother, Michael Andrews of Bremen; five grandchildren; and a number nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. from the Crawford Chapel United Methodist Church in Bremen with Elder Victor Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Bremen City Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
