Mr. James "Cowboy" Brooks, age79 of Wadley, AL, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at his residence after a lengthy illness.  Mr. Brooks was born on September 13, 1942, in Randolph County, AL.  He proudly served in the US Army, serving in Korea and Vietnam.  He was retired as a watchman.

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.
