Mrs. Iris Edwina Owenby Mauldin, age 62, of Bremen passed away Friday, May 2, 2014.  Mrs. Mauldin was born in Cobb County, Georgia on January 31, 1952.  She was the daughter of the late John Junior Owenby and the late Mary Virginia Dobbs.  Mrs. Mauldin was retired from Magnavox where she was the administrative assistant to the President.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Kumi Wofford, Ginger Kelly and Connie Karnes; and one brother, Johnny Owenby.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Robin Ray of Bremen and Michelle and Steve Hollis of Tallapoosa; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Awtrey Moore of Powder Springs; one brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Lee Owenby of Springville, TN; five grandchildren, Anawake Ray, Jeremy Ray, Trevor Barnby, Noah Hollis and Jonathan Hollis; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 5, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Acworth.
