Mrs. Iota Carroll Browning, age 93, of Pleasant Grove Rd., Temple passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010. Mrs. Browning was born in Paulding County on August 14, 1916. She was the daughter of the late Albert W. Carroll and the late Josie Adair Carroll. Mrs. Browning was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company where she worked as a supervisor. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death three sisters, Florene C. Rutledge, Nora Lee Nolen and Rilla Williams; and four brothers, Roy Carroll, Troy F. Carroll, Doyal Carroll and Loyal "Phil" Carroll. Survivors include her husband or seventy two years, Joseph P. Browning of Temple; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
