Mrs. Imogene Hamil Pruitt, age 91, of Bremen passed away Friday, March 6, 2015.  Mrs. Pruitt was born in Haralson County, Georgia,on August 23, 1923.  She was the daughter of the late William Clarence Hamil and the late Ruth Griggs Hamil.  Mrs. Pruitt graduated from Adolphe's Harper Method Beauty School in Atlanta and retired from Hamil Beauty and Barber Supply.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russel O. Pruitt; and one brother, Lee Hamil.

Survivors include one sister, Jo Ann Pope of Tallapoosa; nieces and nephews and their spouses, Donald and Diane Hamil of Bremen; Juanita Bishop of College Park, Tim and Joy Pope, Sandra and David Nash and Dan and Janet Pope all of Talapoosa; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mason Bush officiating.  Interment will follow in Edwards Cemetery in Buchanan following with the gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tim Pope, Dan Pope, Clay Hamil, Steve Bishop, David Drew and Wallace Johnson.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
