Miss Imogene Hurston, age 57, of 150 Price Creek Rd., Bremen passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008. Miss Hurston was born in Haralson County on June 11, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Lee Hurston and the late Mamie Lorene Brown Hurston. Miss Hurston was a Licensed Practical Nurse. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hugh Larry Hurston and J. W. Hurston. Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jessie Lee and Benny Weaver of Buchanan and Betty Jo and Calvin Smith of Bremen; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Joseph Edward and Nancy Hurston of Bremen, Sterling Hurston of Buchanan and Elisha Hurston of Bremen; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. from Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Locklear, Rev. Merle Barron and Rev. Shawn Hurston officiating. Interment will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with the follow gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Calvin Smith, Billy Miller, Danny West, Jimmy Hunt, Daniel Cole, Ricky Weaver and Dwight Hurston. Serving as honorary pallbearers: Noah Robinson, Isaiah West, Grace West, Alexus Robinson and Matthew Hurston. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
