Mrs. Ida Bell Hopson Duzan, age 85, of 51 Lee Rd., Buchanan passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Mrs. Duzan was born in Harris County on November 15, 1923. She was the daughter of the late James Augustus Hadley and the late Oriel Cornett Hadley. Mrs. Duzan was a retired secretary. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Roy Hopson; four sisters, Mary Gordon, Dorothy Harrison, Joyce Thompson and Amy Jenkins; four brothers, Thomas Hadley, Franklin Hadley, Leighton Hadley and Charles Hadley. Survivors include her husband, Samuel A. Duzan of Buchanan; two daughters, Shirley Barnett of Atlanta and Gail Snow of Florida; one step-daughter, Faye Duzan of Douglasville; four step-sons, Billy Max Duzan of Jonesboro, Lonnie Duzan of Hampton, Michael Duzan of Mount Eagle, TN and Rusty Duzan of Bruceville, IN; two brothers, Rev. T.P.Hadley of Thomaston and Talmadge Hadley of Hamilton; eleven grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Wilburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Centre Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
