Hoyt Taylor Daniel, age 18 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020. He was born on December 21, 2001 in Marietta to Jerry Mitchell Daniel and Kayla Ann Dequeant Daniel. He is preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Patrick Dequeant; maternal grandparents, Mary Elizabeth Cheatwood Daniel and Hoyt Daniel; one sister, Diane Daniel and one brother, Mitchell Daniel.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry Mitchell Daniel and Kayla Ann Dequeant Daniel; one sister, AnnaClaire Daniel of Tallapoosa; three brothers, Peyton Daniel of Tallapoosa, Grant Daniel of Carrollton and Tommy Daniel of Tallapoosa; maternal grandmother, Pamela Istre Dequeant and several other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from Pine Grove Baptist Church at 4:00 PM with Reverend Shane Legget officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Ronnie Weldon, Tommy Daniel, Greg Baker, William Jones, Glenn G and Hunter Williams.

The family will receive friends on Friday at Pine Grove from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
