Mr. Howard Weaver, age 101 of Buchanan, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born on June 14, 1920 in Buchanan to the late W.E. Weaver and the late Margaret Payton Weaver. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Brown Weaver; brothers, Bill Weaver, Milfred Weaver and Albert Weaver and grandson, Robbie Cole.

Mr. Weaver retired from Arrow Shirt Company and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He loved God, his wife (whom he lovingly referred to as "Momma") and his family. His enjoyment in life was making people smile, especially children, with his jokes and magic tricks. One of his favorite sayings was, "God really shined on me." God blessed him with 101 years and he enjoyed every minute.

Left to cherish his memories, are his two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Jimmy Hunt and Sharon and Daniel Cole; grandchildren, Joseph C. Hunt and Tracie, Dawn Henson and Ricky, Tina Thompson and Hank and Russell Cole and Amanda; thirteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Weaver will be conducted Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Tyler Sweatt, Reverend Merle Barron and Jimmy Hunt officiating.  The family will receive  friends at the church from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Joseph Hunt, Russell Cole, Joseph Hunt, Jr., Tyler Sweatt, Brett Cole and Zeke Cole. Honorary pallbearers are Hank Thompson, Ricky Henson, Dexter Cole and Aidan Cole.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in care of Jimmy Hunt 1330 Rockmart Rd. Buchanan, GA 30113.
