Mr. Hilton Howell Thompson, age 57, of Whitesburg passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015.  Mr. Thompson was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 10, 1957.  He was the son of the late Hilton Howell Thompson, Sr. and Deloris Inez Hutchison Thompson.  Mr. Thompson was a veteran of the United States Army and was a journeyman sheet metal worker.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Cosby Thompson of Whitesburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Cody Eaves of Tacoma, WA; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Brandon Lee and Megan Thompson of Columbus and Adam Thompson of Whitesburg; mother, Deloris Inez Hutchison Thompson of Hampton; one step-daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and David Mosteller of Hampton; one step-son, Kenneth Cosby of Hampton; two grandchildren, Malachi Eaves and Noah Mosteller; a future grandchild, Aaron Lane Eaves; and a number of other relatives.

The family will conduct memorial services at a later date.
