Mrs. Henrietta Fincher Prewitt, age 86, of Buchanan passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017.  Mrs. Fincher was born in Buchanan, Georgia, on February 10, 1931. She was retired from Cluett, Peabody, and Company (Arrow Shirt) in Buchanan.  Mrs. Prewitt was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Payton and Terry Payton; and mother, Hessie Fincher Thrower.

Survivors include husband, R.J. Prewitt of Buchanan; three daughters and one son-in-law, Pam Payton of Tallapoosa, Lynn Payton of Waco, and Connie and Dewayne Stansell of Buchanan; one son, Anthony Payton of Buchanan; one sister and brother-in-law, Tula and Darrell Starr of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Kevin Griggs, Kim Skinner, Heather Green, Amanda Payton, Brandon Payton and Joshua Green; thirteen great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1:0 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ricky Shirley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. from 1:00 P.M.
