Hellen Myra Holcombe Kilgore, age 83 of Bremen, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023. She was born on May 17, 1940, to the late James Holcombe and the late Elsie Rush Holcombe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Kilgore; son, Edger Herrell and sister, Judy Herrell.

Hellen was always looking for a treasure and yard sales were her favorite places to look.  Her grands called her adventures "ard selling."  She enjoyed takin care of her flowers, but her passion was her family.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and had a special treasure drawer just for them.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Melanie Holcombe of Bremen; three sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Herrell and Darlene of Bremen, James Herrell of Bremen and Tommy Herrell of Bremen; one sister, Shirley Mead of Waco; and four brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby Holcombe of Bremen, Jimmy Holcombe and Joyce of Tallapoosa, Mike Holcombe of Tallapoosa and Danny Holcombe.  Also surviving are her precious eight grandchildren, Conner Herrell, Holden Herrell, Savannah Herrell, Danny Simpson, T.J. Herrell, Bridgett Feather, Bo Manus and Laranda Hulsey; seven grandchildren and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes she will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
