Mrs. Hazel Holcombe Duke, age 93, of Carrollton passed away Friday, October 23, 2015.  Mrs. Duke was born in Buchanan, Georgia on February 10, 1922.  Mrs. Duke was the daughter of the late Jim Holcombe and the late Della Goggins Holcombe.  She was a homemaker.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold Duke; two sisters, Faye Williams and Era Sanders.

Survivors include one sister, Gwinell Griffin of Carrollton; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating.  Music will be rendered by Kersha Cartwright accompanied by Beleta Anderson.  Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jimmy Griffin, Charles Williams, Mickey Haris, David Koonce, Matt Harris, and Neal Harris.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M.
